In view of the current market conditions and the increased operating costs, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is compelled to apply a general rate increase for all imports from all Ports of South American East Coast (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay), as follows: Dry Cargo:

This GRI will be applied with effect from the 15th of June 2009. MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company will maintain all its services on the East Coast of South America (2 to Northern Europe, 2 to the Mediterranean and 2 service feeders) offering the best coverage in this zone, with a total of 18 ports of call (13 in Brazil, 3 in Argentina, Montevideo and Ascension).
