GENERAL RATE INCREASE FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN TO AUSTRALIA & INDIAN OCEAN

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company informs that, in order to guarantee the regularity and quality of the service, the company will be implementing a general rate increase to shipments ex the Mediterranean to the ports in Australia and Indian Ocean.

This GRI will be applied as from 1 April 2010 as follows:

For exports to Australia:

USD 100 x TEU

For exports to Indian Ocean:

EUR 250 x TEU
