| IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EXPORTERS TO INDIA | 02/02/2007 |
| We inform our customers that due to the tightening of port security measures in India, local Authorities have started to enforce that all containers being discharged at any Indian port must present a bottle seal. As a consequence, any container found without a bottle seal or presenting discrepancy with manifest and Original Bill of Lading may be detained or subject to heavy costs / fines / penalties. Mediterranean Shipping Company declines any responsibility arising from non-compliance of above mentioned procedure and reserves the right to be indemnified by Shippers for any extra costs or expenses which might incur.
